Is 4planner affiliated with FranklinCovey?
No. 4planner is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FranklinCovey Co. FranklinCovey, Franklin Planner, and related marks belong to their respective owners.
Is 4planner a downloadable PDF?
No. 4planner is an interactive web application. Tasks can be edited, filtered, completed, scheduled, and synced across supported browsers instead of being written onto a static PDF.
Does 4planner use the Eisenhower Matrix?
Yes. Every task is assigned to one of four combinations of important or unimportant and urgent or not urgent. You can work from a regular list or see the same tasks in a four-quadrant matrix.
What is included for free?
The Free plan includes the core task system, list and matrix views, required urgency and importance decisions, search, filters, subtasks, deadlines, completion tracking, and built-in task lists.
What does 4planner Pro cost?
4planner Pro is a one-time $99 USD purchase for the account. It unlocks the full calendar, task scheduling, delegation tracking, and unlimited custom task lists. There is no recurring subscription for Pro.
Can I use 4planner on a phone?
Yes. The web app is responsive and works in modern mobile browsers. A native iPhone version is also planned.
Are calendar entries and task deadlines the same thing?
No. Scheduled events have a time. Date-only task deadlines remain visibly distinct, so a due date does not pretend to occupy calendar time.
Can I mark scheduled or delegated work complete?
Yes. Scheduling or delegating changes the task's workflow state, but the original task remains open and can still be completed normally.
